Introducing the new Hy-Brid PA-1030, a mobile elevated work platform designed with worker safety and productivity in mind
Rental centers and contractors around the U.S. see greater adoption of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP) to create a more productive and safer working environment.
Vandalia Rental strives to keep our customers well-informed on the latest equipment and safety regulations. Push-around and electric lifts have been the center of many ongoing discussions in the construction industry, primarily due to their safety features.
Many customers are getting on board with the “ladders last” mentality, replacing or limiting ladders and scaffolding on job sites. Safety Directors with general contractors have been mandating lifts versus ladders, which in turn, has reduced workplace injuries while increasing productivity.
Using push-around MEWP’s like the new Hy-Brid PA-1030 can result in fewer accidents, additional productivity, and reduced fatigue. The Hy-Brid PA-1030 is part of the Hy-Brid Lifts’ Push-Around Series created for general contractors, as many work to transition to safer alternatives on the job site.
About the PA-1030
The Hy-Brid PA-1030 is easily maneuvered into place and hydraulically raises and lowers as needed. The unit features plenty of working space while remaining easy to move around a job site and into small areas or through doorways.
Standard Features Include:
- Tool Holder
- Parts Tray
- Saloon Style Entry Gate
- Battery Condition Indicator at Upper
- Controls
- Two-Handed Vertical Operation
- Oversized Scissor Pins
- Maintenance-Free Design
- Bumpers
- Forklift Pockets
- Recessed Charger Outlet
- Total-Lock Rear Casters
Even though many contractors are not required to use lifts versus ladders & scaffolding, we have found that they are choosing to use these machines as a more efficient and safer alternative.
Dimensions and Specifications
One of the most appreciated features of this push-around lift is its compactness and maneuverability.
When stowed, the unit is under six feet in height; but has plenty of working room with more than two feet in width and four feet in platform length.
Additionally, the unit can be quickly relocated without the hassle of moving ladders or dissembling and re-assembling scaffolding.
In addition to the PA-1030, Vandalia Rental has a variety of MEWP models (push-around, electric, diesel, 4×4) in stock and ready to rent.
